Cricket: Babar, Rizwan and Shaheen receives their ICC trophies

The captain of Pakistan cricket team Babar Azam, wicket-keeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan and fast bowler Shaheen Afridi received their trophies from the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Saturday.

According to details, the Pakistani skipper Babar Azam received the glittering prize for being named ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of 2021. He shared a picture of himself on his Twitter account while holding the trophy and wrote, “It’s finally here.”

The Pakistani wicket-keeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan received the trophy for ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of 2021. He also shared a picture on his Twitter account while holding his trophy along with Babar and Shaheen and wrote, “Congratulations to Kaptaan @babarazam258, ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the year, and @iShaheenAfridi for his prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year.”

The fast bowling sensation of Pakistan Shaheen Shah Afridi (ICC Men’s Cricketer of 2021) got the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy. He took to his Twitter account and shared two pictures with the trophy. He wrote, “Such an honour to hold this prestigious trophy representing Pakistan. Congratulations to Kaptaan @babarazam258 and @iMRizwanPak as well for their respective awards. It will definitely push us to do even better.”

It is to be mentioned here that the Pakistani cricketers ruled the year 2021 across all formats of the game and because of their extra ordinary performances Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi received their trophies from ICC.
