The newly elected Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab Hamza Shehbaz has thanked all the member of Punjab Assembly who supported him and said that Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari deserves tribute and democracy has won today.
Speaking in the Punjab Assembly after election on Saturday, Hamza Shehbaz has said that the High Court had given powers to the Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari. He said that today the Constitution was mocked.

The newly elected CM Punjab Hamza Shehbaz has said that the attack on the Deputy Speaker was an attack on the sanctity of the House. He said that the Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari deserves tribute for the way in which he has done his duty bravely.
Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz further stated that despite all these things, democracy has won today. Bad times come and go. I want to ask Imran Niazi what happened to the promises you made to the nation.
CM Punjab has said that 7000 MW power was not being added to the system due to closure of plants due to incompetence of previous government. He said that he was grateful to Hassan Murtaza, Aleem Khan, Jahangir Tareen and others who supported him.
