The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf government is committed to empowerment and social protection of women by providing them equal opportunities of progress and ensuring their rights.
This has been stated by the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz in a statement on social networking website Twitter on International Women’s Day, being observed today (Monday).
The Information Minister further stated that the enforcement of Women Property Rights Act will help ensure women their inheritance rights.
“It is imperative to empower women to make society civilized and progressive,” he added.
