A case has been registered against Maulana Abdul Aziz, the former Khatib of Lal Masjid, by the Federal Police, under 8 serious provisions including terrorism.
According to the media reports, the Federal Police has registered a case against Maulana Abdul Aziz under the provisions of terrorism in police station CTD, Abdul Aziz and his guards have been named in the case.

According to the police, 4 persons including the former Khatib of Lal Masjid have been named accused in the case. The FIR said that the accused in a double cabin vehicle fired directly at the Combing police team.
According to the police, Islamabad police arrested 3 guards of Abdul Aziz along with weapons.
