The final decision of reopening educational institutes across Pakistan from September 15 will be taken by the government on September 7.
This has been stated by the Minister for Federal Education Shafqat Mehmood while addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Friday.
The Education Minister has requested the Ministry of Health to prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) for educational institutes to prevent spread of the novel Covid19 pandemic.
Shafqat Mehmood has said that the work is in process to impose uniform education system in the country.
The Minister has said earlier that the educational institutes were granted permission to open their administrative offices and faculty departments by ensuring strict implementation SOPs.
