The officials of the Ministry of Finance have said that the electricity bill will include a radio fee along with a TV fee.
According to the media reports, the Finance Ministry Officials made these remarks during a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Finance under the chairmanship of Senator Saleem Mandviwala in Islamabad today (Thursday, July 20th).

During the meeting, the officials of the Ministry of Finance said that 35 rupees TV and 15 rupees radio fee will be imposed on the electricity bill. They said that the Senate committee had made this recommendation which has been acted upon.
Finance Ministry Officials further stated that the issue of privatization of institutions is related to policy, the recommendation was to privatize loss-making institutions. They said that the Finance Ministry had received 55 recommendations from the Finance Committee.
