Renowned Balochi folk singer Wasu Khan passed away last night at a private hospital in Sukkur.
According to the media reports, the death news of the folk singer, who performed with Shahzad Roy, have been confirmed by his family. The family sources said that Vasu Khan was suffering from respiratory disease and died last night at a private hospital in Sukkur. They said that Wasu Khan’s funeral prayer and cremation will be held at Goth Rustam Gajani.

It is pertinent to mention here that Folk Singer Wasu Khan gained fame by describing the political history of Pakistan in his unique style through singing.
It should be remembered that singer Shehzad Rai found Wasu Khan from a village in Balochistan on YouTube in 2011. After which singer Shahzad Roy performed a famous song ‘Apne Alu’ along with Vasu in his unique style.
The duo then presented the TV show ‘Wasu Aur Mein’ which made Wasu Khan popular.
