Former Cricketer Andrew Symonds passes away in car accident

The former cricketer of Australia, Andrew Symonds has passed away in a car accident outside Townsville in Queensland state.

According to media reports, the car accident of Andrew Symonds was occurred at 10:30 pm on Saturday night. The former Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds was 46 years of age.

In a statement, Queensland police has said Andrew Symonds was driving on Hervey Range Road near the Alice River Bridge when his car left the road and rolled.

In his career, he payed all three formats of the game and was a right-handed, middle-order batsman. He played 26 Tests, 198 One-Day Internationals and 14 Twenty20 Internationals for Australia. He was known for medium pace as well as off-spin bowling.
