Former Senator Waqar Ahmed surrendered to court on his return

The former Senator Waqar Ahmed – the name accused in the NAB Lahore case – surrendered before the Islamabad High Court on his return to home.

According to the media reports, The Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court Justice Amir Farooq, and Justice Babar Sattar heard the case against former senator Waqar Ahmed. Islamabad High Court granted 10-day protective bail to Waqar Ahmed.

Islamabad High Court directed the accused to appear in the relevant accountability court of Lahore within 10 days and stopped NAB from arresting Waqar Ahmed.
