Govt disburse loan of Rs1.5 bn amongst women: Usman Dar - editor times

The Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar has said that government has disbursed loans of 1.5 billion rupees so far amongst the women under Kamyab Jawan Program (KJP).

According to media reports, the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs has made these remarks while addressing a ceremony in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

On the occasion, Usman Dar has said that Kamyab Jawan Program has helped about two thousand women to become entrepreneurs. He said loans are being provided to the youth on subsidized rates so that they could establish their businesses and contribute to the development of the country.

The Special Assistant further stated that twenty five billion rupees will be given to the women out of one hundred billion rupees allocated for Kamyab Jawan Program. He said the scope of Kamyab Jawan Program will be further expanded.

In her remarks, the Federal Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul has said that the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has taken practical steps for the economic empowerment of women.
