Govt disbursed Rs 4 billion loans in 300 cities across Pakistan

The Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Shaukat Tarin has said that loans amounting to four billion rupees have been disbursed in 300 cities of the country.

According to media reports, Shaukat Tarin has made these remarks while addressing the interest free loan scheme under Kamyab Pakistan Program ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday. He said it is an important day for the poor segments of the society.

The Finanace Minister has said that the incumbent government is making all out efforts for the social and economic development of the downtrodden segments of the society. He said that the loans will be provided to those who do not have access to banks and the Prime Minister Imran Khan has issued special directives in this regard.

Shaukat Tarin further stated that loans are being provided to all segments without any discrimination. He said we are committed to fulfill the dreams of the poor.

“In order to ensure the provision of employment with self-respect, interest free loans are being provided to the farmers and for “Apna Rozgar” and “Apna Ghar” schemes,” he said, adding that Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan is moving towards a welfare state based on the principles of state of Madina.
