Govt upgrades PMC to improve quality of medical education in Pakistan: SAPM

The Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on National Health Services, Dr Faisal Sultan has said that Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has been upgraded to improve the quality of medical education in the country.

According to media reports, the Special Assistant on National Health Services has expressed these views while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Monday.

The SAPM further stated that our effort is also to bring improvements in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and other hospitals to provide better healthcare facilities to the people.

Dr Faisal Sultan emphasized the need for promotion of medical research to take forward the country. He pointed out that medicine is a sacred profession and those associated with it must serve the ailing humanity with devotion and respect.
