Irfan Qadir, the Pakistani lawyer, and jurist, was appointed as Special Assistant to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for Accountability.
According to the media reports, the cabinet division has issued a notification for the appointment of Irfan Qadir today (Thursday, May 25).

The cabinet division said in the notification that the post of Qadir will be equal to the Minister of State.
It is to be mentioned here that Qadir previously served as the 29th Attorney-General for Pakistan from April 2012 to June 2013. He also served as a judge of the Lahore High Court in 2009.
