Justice Irfan Saadat Khan sworn in as Acting Chief Justice Sindh High Court

Justice Irfan Saadat Khan was sworn in as Acting Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court (SHC) in a ceremony in Karachi today (Tuesday, October 3).

According to the media reports, the oath of Justice Irfan Saadat Khan was administered by Justice Aqeel Ahmad Abbasi. He will run the court affairs until the appointment of a regular chief justice by the Judicial Commission of Pakistan.

It is pertinent to mention here that the tenure of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Ahmed Ali Sheikh was completed on October 2. Appointment to the post of Permanent Chief Justice of Sindh High Court will take place after the meeting of the Judicial Commission.
