Karakoram Highway restored for one-way traffic

The Karakoram Highway, which connects Rawalpindi and Gilgit, has been reopened to one-way traffic.

According to the media reports, the Karakoram Highway was blocked by landslides in Raikot, Sumer Nallah, and other points due to landslides. However, the workers of Frontier Works Organization restored the Highway for one-way traffic.

The workers of Frontier Works Organization also restored traffic between Gilgit-Skardu removing landslides debris from Shahre-Baltistan. The road was blocked due to landslides at Dhee near Zero Point in Khunjerab. While Naran to Babusar road was also restored for traffic.
