Khalil Ahmed Bajwa, the New Consul General of Pakistan appointed for Canada, took charge of his post in Toronto.
According to the media reports, the new Consul General of Pakistan Khalil Ahmed Bajwa posted in Toronto, Canada. He said during an interview with a private media house that Canada is home to a vibrant Pakistani community. I will play a positive role by taking the Pakistani community together for the strengthening of bilateral relations between Canada and Pakistan, he said.

Consul General Khalil Bajwa further stated that facilitating a conducive environment between the private sector IT companies of Pakistan and Canada is among my priorities. He said that consular services for the community will be made faster and efforts will be made to increase the number of Pakistani students in Canadian universities.
It is pertinent to mention here that Khali Bajwa has previously represented the government of Pakistan in Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Turkmenistan.
