Khunjerab Pass corridor between Pakistan and China is being opened today for two-side trade.
According to the media reports, the Khunjerab Pass corridor was closed after the COVID-19 outbreak almost three years ago in 2020. The Pass connects Gilgit Baltistan with China’s Xinjiang region.

It was briefly opened last year to allow imports from China and now in the second phase, exports from Pakistan are also being allowed to resume.
The reopening of the border crossing will help boost economic activities between the two countries.
