Kriti Sanon – the Indian actress who made her mark both in Bollywood and South Indian Cinema – has said that with the advent of the fashion police, celebs started taking their looks too seriously.
According to the media reports, Kriti Sanon made these remarks during an interview with a private showbiz news platform when she asked whether she feels comfort fashion is underrated. She said that we have become too serious about how we look with the fashion police and all coming in. She added that fashion is supposed to be something that we enjoy and it’s supposed to be very personal in the sense that it should be an extension of who we are.
The Indian Actress wished that people didn’t judge the shoes she wore, or make comments about how high or short her heels were. She said that she personally loves wearing short heels and even flats and wishes that they had ‘comfort’ as a theme on red carpets. She also added that she owns a lot of sneakers and that she feels Ranbir Kapoor and Siddhant Chaturvedi have the best collection of shoes.
It is pertinent to mention here that Bollywood celebs are constantly scrutinized, especially when it comes to their appearance. While celebrities are known to put their best foot forward for any red-carpet event or award ceremony, their looks are frequently critiqued by individuals on the Internet.
On the work front, the actress was last seen in Vikas Bahl’s action film Ganapath: A Hero Is Born. The other star cast of the film includes Tiger Shroff and Amitabh Bachchan. She will be seen next in the highly anticipated film The Crew, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu. She will also act in an untitled romance film with Shahid Kapoor. Aside from Shahid and Kriti, the film also stars Dharmendra and will be released in theaters on February 9, 2024.
