Leader, workers start arriving for the PDM’s final power show

The leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) have arrived in Lahore for the PDM’s final power show of the first phase of its anti-government movement. All the arrangements have been completed.

According to media reports, the Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz, Central General Secretary of Awami National Party (ANP) Mian Iftikhar Hussain and President of Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) Sardar Akhtar Mengal have reached the house of PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq. From his house they will leave for Minar-i-Pakistan, where the rally will be held.

Maryam Nawaz while leaving her Jati Umra residence has said that the public would now bring down the roof over the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government.

The Vice President further stated, “I want to give a message to the entire Lahore that I am fully aware of your difficulties. People have not come out on the PDM’s call; instead, it is the PDM that has come out on the people’s call. The time has come to give the final push to PTI government.”

Maryam Nawaz also urged people from all sectors to come and attend the rally.

“Government is going and the era of Nawaz Sharif’s services is coming,” she added.

Maryam also advisied people to follow SOPs in a tweet. She advised the attendees to wear a mask for your own safety and that of your dear ones, at all times, before, during and after the rally.
