The legendary actress of Pakistani showbiz industry, Durdana Butt has breathed her last in Karachi on Thursday at the age of 83.
The news has been shared by the actor Khalid Malik on his Instagram account. He said, “Durdana (dodi) apa has transitioned from this realm back to her Creator. The wise. The humorous. The insightful Durdana Butt is a special soul now back in His embrace.”
According to media reports, Durdana Butt had been on the ventilator for eight days after testing positive for the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The Veteran actress was known for her roles in popular productions such as Silsilay, Tanahaiyaan, Aangan Terha, Ruswai and Intezaar. She has also worked in the films like Balu Mahi, Parey Hut Love, Ishq Positive and Dil Diyan Gallan.
Durdana was born on May 9, 1938 in Lahore and she started her acting journey in the early 70s.
After the news of her detah, condolences for the Fifty-Fifty star started pouring in from celebrities and fans alike.
