The Naval Chief, Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi has said that the maritime security has pivotal role with regards to the development of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
According to media reports, the Naval Chief has made these remarks during his visit to installations of Pakistan Navy at the coastal areas on Thursday.
During the visit, the Naval Chief was breifed on Gwadar Port and the coastal security of CPEC project.
Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi has reviewed the operational preparedness and activities of the naval force at Turbat, Gwadar and Ormara.
