Maryam Nawaz appointed as Senior Vice President of PMLN

Maryam Nawaz has been promoted to senior vice president in Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to the details, the announcement has been made by the Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb in a statement on the social networking website Twitter on Tuesday. She issued the notification which was signed by PM Shehbaz Sharif and said that the prime minister has announced the organizational decision of the party.

The notification said, “Pursuant to the powers conferred under the Constitution of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, the undersigned is pleased to appoint Maryam Nawaz Sharif as “Senior Vice President of PMLN” with immediate effect.”

“Maryam Nawaz is authorized to re-organize the party at all functional tiers/levels as a chief organizer,” the statement issued by Marriyum Aurangzeb on the social networking website Twitter added.

Meanwhile, the Federal Minister for Finance, Ishaq Dar congratulated Maryam Nawaz on the occasion and offered his best wishes to her. He said, “Heartiest congratulations and best wishes for Maryam Nawaz Sharif on her appointment as SVP/Chief Organiser of PML-N by the party President Shehbaz Sharif in consultation with the party Quaid Nawaz Sharif.”
