Junaid Safdar moved to Pakistan but won’t participate in political activities

The grandson of ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and son of the Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN), Junaid Safdar confirmed that he had moved to Pakistan and insisted that he won’t be participating in any political activities.

According to the details, Junaid Safdar made these remarks about moving to Pakistan in a statement on the social networking website Instagram on Friday. He said that he has moved to Pakistan purely to be of service to his parents, family, and community.

“I will not be participating in any political activity, nor have I any interest in politics for now,” Maryam Nawaz’s son said, adding that he was loving the winters in Lahore and had missed them.

His clarification comes after several reports said Junaid would be helping his mother Maryam Nawaz in the upcoming general elections. He has primarily remained out of the spotlight. Last year, he was in the headlines last year for his extravagant wedding event in Pakistan.

Earlier, The Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb said the Senior Vice President of PMLN Maryam Nawaz would be returning to Pakistan in the third week of January.
