NAB recovers Rs466 billion from corrupt elements: Javed Iqbal

The Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that they are determined to bring corrupt elements to justice. He said that the anti-graft watchdog has recovered Rs466 billion from corrupt elements and submitted in national treasury.

According to media reports, Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal was chairing a high level meeting in Islamabad on Monday. Deputy Chairman, Prosecutor General and Director General NAB also attended the meeting.

While directing concerned officials to take steps for arrests of proclaimed offenders and absconders, the Chairman stressed that NAB does not belong to any political party, group or individual.
