NTR Jr’s Devara Release date delayed to give more time to VFX

The release date of the most awaited film of NTR JR, Devara, has been delayed because it is a high-on VFX film and the output is taking longer than expected.

According to the media reports, NTR Jr. and Kortala Siva have decided to delay the release date of Devara. The reports stated that Devara is a high-end visual effects picture, and it’s taking longer than anticipated to finish. Given the enormous stakes, the creators have made it plain that they will not skimp on the visuals. In addition to being extremely cautious about what comes after RRR, NTR Jr. wants to provide a grand cinematic experience. Currently, the creators plan to come in 2024’s second half.

While the VFX work is going on in full swing, about 20 days of shoot also remain and the same has been pushed a little due to the injury to Saif Ali Khan, who plays the antagonist turn in Devara. The makers don’t want to risk shooting till the last minute and then delivering a compromised product on the edit and visual front. It’s better to wait for the right moment and come up with a film that stands true to the promises made, according to the reports.

It is pertinent to mention here that the teaser for NTR JR and Kortala Siva’s masterpiece, Devara, was released on January 8, 2024, and both the trade and the public responded favorably to it. The images became the buzz of the town and gradually piqued viewers’ interest in the movie in the Hindi markets. Although the narrative of Devara is currently unknown, the movie has a strong ensemble cast that includes Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and NTR JR. There is a lot of action and drama in this two-part drama that is set against the backdrop of coastal areas.
