Pakistan and China are ready to start working on five new economic corridors of the CPEC.
According to the media reports, the second phase of China Pakistan Economic Corridor has been started with the facilitation of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). The government is determined to work closely with China on five new economic corridors of the CPEC.

These economic corridors of Pakistan and China include the Innovation Corridor, Livelihood Corridor, Green Energy Corridor, Regional Development Corridor, and Employment Creation Corridor.
While giving the details regarding the projects, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, Ahsan Iqbal said these economic corridors are part of CPEC Phase II. He said Pakistan and China have agreed to start work on these five corridors which are aligned with Pakistan’s ‘5Es framework.
