Muhammad Aurangzeb – the Federal Minister for Finance – has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to continue deepening its partnership with Turkiye across various sectors, including trade, investment, and technical cooperation.
According to the media reports, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb expressed his views while talking to the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye Mehmet Paçaci, who gave him a farewell courtesy call in Islamabad today (Wednesday, August 28).

Speaking on the occasion, the Federal Minister for Finance said that the recent visit of the Turkish trade delegation to Pakistan helped explore new avenues for cooperation in sectors such as energy, agriculture, infrastructure, and technology.
The signature of the Trade in Goods Agreement 2022 was emphasized throughout the meeting as a critical step in reaching the five billion dollar bilateral trade goal. The importance of expanding trade and investment opportunities through additional business-to-business (B2B) and government-to-government (G2G) agreements was emphasized by both parties.
Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye Mehmet Paçaci assured Turkiye’s continued commitment to working towards the common goals of both nations.
