Pakistan is desirous to further promote trade partnership with the United Kingdom (UK), the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said, adding that Pakistan and UK enjoy deep and longstanding bilateral relations.
According to media reports, the Foreign Minister has made these remarks while talking to the UK High Commissioner Dr Christian Turner who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Shah Mahmood Qureshi has urged the international community to play its role for the resolution of Kashmir dispute as per the United Nations (UN) Security Council resolutions.
Dr Christian Turner commended Pakistan’s conciliatory efforts for peace in Afghanistan. He was also appreciative of Pakistan’s strategy against the novel Covid19 pandemic.
Both the leaders also held discussion for promotion of cooperation in the areas of climate change, education and tourism.
