The Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Dr. Geoffrey Shaw has appreciated Pakistan’s positive role for regional peace and stability.
According to media reports, the Australian High Commissioner has expressed these views while talking to Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi on Saturday.
During the meeting, the Army Chief and Australian envoy discussed the matters of mutual interest, overall regional situation including Afghan peace process and bilateral cooperation in various fields.
On the occasion, General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Pakistan values its strong diplomatic, economic and defence relations with Australia.
The Army Chief and Australian High Commissioner reiterated the desire to further enhance bilateral cooperation including efforts for peace and security in the region.
