The Foreign Minster Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that millions of Pakistanis living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have been contributing to the development of the UAE for the last many decades.
According to media reports, the Foreign Minister has made these remarks during a telephonic conversation with his UAE counterpart Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday.
Pakistan and UAE enjoy deep, historic and fraternal ties, the Foreign Minister said, adding that in every difficult hour, including the Covid19 pandemic, the two brotherly countries stood by each other.
Both the Foreign Ministers agreed to promote bilateral cooperation in the economic and trade sectors. They issues of mutual interest, including bilateral relations and the overall situation in the region were also discussed.
