Renowned ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas passed away suddenly on Monday morning at the age of 72 at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. The film industry and the music industry are both in great sadness over the loss of such a musical legend. The seasoned vocalist was now given state funeral rites.
According to the media reports, his last ceremonies are being held in Mumbai’s Worli Hindu Crematorium today. The famous classical singer received a funeral with state honors after receiving the Padmashree. Several well-known personalities from a variety of industries showed there to honor Pankaj Udhas, the ghazal maestro, and say their final goodbyes. Pankaj Udhas’s lifeless remains were sent to his Mumbai home one day after he passed away. Numerous well-known celebrities visited the well-known singer’s Mumbai home before his funeral to send their sympathies to his bereaved family.
