The Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court (PHC), Waqar Ahmad Seth passed away on Thursday due to the novel coronavirus at age 59.
According to media reports, the PHC Chi9ef Justice died days after contracting the novel Covid19 and being shifted to a private hospital in Islamabad.
The spokesperson of the High Court has said that Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth had tested positive for the virus on October 22 and was subsequently admitted to a hospital in Peshawar.
He said added that Justice Seth was later shifted to the Kulsoom International Hospital in Islamabad.
