PM urges all political parties to uphold democratic values in country

The Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Parliament is the biggest constitutional and key institution of the country not only for legislation, but for the continuity of democracy as well.

According to media reports, the Prime Minister has stated this while talking to Speaker of National Assembly Asad Qaiser in Islamabad on Monday.

During the meeting, the Premier has urged all the political parties to ensure sanctity of the Parliament and uphold democratic values in the country.

Imran Khan further stated that the people always look towards their elected representatives for raising their voice in the parliament for resolution of their problems.

“Parliament’s real strength lies in serving the masses and upholding the Constitution,” he added.

The Prime Minister and NA Speaker also exchanged views on parliamentary system of the country.
