Police arrests Guru Randhawa, Suresh Raina and Sussane Khan

The Mumbai police has arrested the Indian cricketer Suresh Raina, Sussane Khan and singer Guru Randhawa.

According to media Santabanta, the government of Maharashtra has declared a night curfew from December 22 to January 5 in the financial capital due to rise in the number of active novel coronavirus cases.

Mumbai Police conducted a raid at Dragonfly club situated in Hotel JW Marriot, Andheri at around 2:30 am on Tuesday while taking strict action against deviants.

During the raid, police has arrested Guru Randhawa, Suresh Raina, Sussane Khan along with other celebrities under section 188 of IPC, Bombay Police Act and Epidemic Disease Act.

Offence has been registered u/s 188, 269, 34 IPC and u/s 51 NDMA against 34 persons at Sahar police station after raid was conducted at 2.50 AM at Dragonfly pub, for keeping establishment open beyond permissible time limit, not following Covid norms such as social distancing, not wearing face mask, Mumbai police said in a statement.

Police has arrested 34 people along with the hotel staff. Suresh Raina and Guru Randhawa were released on bail later.
