The Indian actress, Rakul Preet Singh has tested positive for the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The news has been confirmed by the actress herself on her Twitter account. She shared a long note and informed her friends and fans that she has tested positive for coronavirus.
Rakul Preet Singh wrote, “I’d like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have quarantined myself. I am feeling fine and will rest up well so that I can be back at shoot soon. Request everyone who met me to kindly get yourself tested. Thank you and Please stay safe.”
The actress also urged the people who came in her contact to get themselves tested as soon as possible.
It is to be mentioned here that Rakul was shooting for her upcoming film ‘Mayday’ in Hyderabad.
Mayday is the upcoming film of Ajay Devgan that also stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. The film will be releasing on 29 April 2022.
