President to follow PM’s advice over Army Chief appointment

The President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi has said that he will follow the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif regarding the appointment of the next Army Chief.

According to the media reports, President Dr. Arif Alvi made these remarks during a conversation with his close friends.

The reports further stated President of Pakistan said that he doesn’t have the legal authority to stop the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif regarding the appointment of the next Army Chief. He also added that he never interfered in the affairs of the state.

Earlier, the claim of a senior leader of PTI has come from senior journalist of ‘Jang’ Ansar Abbasi that Imran Khan and PTI will not create conflict with the new military establishment and neither will Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
