The remaining twenty matches of Pakistan Super League Season 6 may be held in June this year, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said.
According to media reports, the decision has been taken by the national cricket board and the leaders of all PSL franchises in a virtual meeting on Thursday.
The Board said that all the members agreed that the remaining matches will also be played in Karachi and Lahore will however, not host any of the matches.
“June emerged as the most preferred and practical window due to Pakistan men’s national cricket team’s international commitments in March, April, late August and September. The remaining 20 matches in June are now being planned following the men’s national cricket team’s return from Zimbabwe on 13 May and before their departure for England on 26 June,” according to PCB statement.
It is to be mentioned here that PSL6 was postponed on March 4 due to rising cases of Covid19 among players and officials inside the bio-secure bubble.
