The Punjab Assembly will elect a new Leader of the House (Chief Minister) tomorrow (Sunday) after Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Usman Buzdar resigned in favour of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid’s Pervaiz Elahi.
According to media reports, the election schedule was issued during the session today. The schedule revealed that voting for the chief ministership of Punjab will be held tomorrow at 3pm.

The reports said that the nomination papers for the election can be obtained from the provincial assembly secretariat till 5pm today (Saturday).
It is to be mentioned here that Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar accepted the resignation of Usman Buzdar on Friday.
