Punjab: Nursing colleges fixes 20% female quota from backward areas

The Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed the nursing colleges to fix twenty percent quota in admissions female students from backward areas.

According to media reports twenty percent quota has been fixed for admission in nursing colleges for female students from backward areas on the special directive of CM Punjab Usman Buzdar.

In a statement, CM Punjab Usman Buzdar has said that though this nursing staff will be available for patients of backward, remote areas and employment opportunities will also be available for female students of backward areas.

The Chief Minister further stated that efforts are being made to provide basic facilities including health to the people of backward and far flung areas. He said that we are guardians for the rights of the people of backward areas.
