The leader of Pakistan People Party and former Prime Minister, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf will take oath as Speaker of the National Assembly (NA).
According to media reports, the National Assembly of Pakistan will convene today (Saturday) in which PPP leader Raja Pervaiz Ashraf will take oath as NA Speaker.

The secret ballot on no-confidence motion against Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Qasim Suri will also be held today.
It is to be noted here that the Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri had adjourned the meeting on April 9 till April 16, after which the date was changed to April 22.
