Resham – a Renowned Pakistani actress who worked in several movies and dramas – has leveled serious allegations against veteran filmmaker Syed Noor and claimed that he was responsible for the downfall of her once-thriving film career.
According to the media reports, the Pakistani actress Resham who enjoyed widespread acclaim for her performances said that the favoritism of filmmaker Syed Noor towards another actress led him to stop offering her roles in his productions. She said, “Syed Noor was the only director who understood my acting style, but he stopped giving me work because of his affection for Saima Ji.”

The actress revealed that Noor had even insulted her on set and questioned why anyone would cast her in their films. She defended her filmography, stating that every actor has a mix of successful and unsuccessful projects. She said Noor’s remarks about her being an “unfortunate actress” who “ruined herself” by appearing in low-budget productions were deeply hurtful.
She angrily said, “By God, Syed Noor ruined my career,” charging the director for betraying her career because of his romance with Saima. Numerous people have shown support for Resham and denounced Noor for what they see as unprofessional behavior in response to the disclosures, which have spurred a larger discussion regarding the dynamics and power structures inside Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
