The Chairman of the Special Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir, Shehryar Afridi has called on the Director United Nations of the Human Rights Watch (HRW) Louis Charbonneau in New York on Friday.
During the meeting, Shehryar Afridi has briefed Louis Charbonneau on the human rights situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).

Human Rights Watch has issued a number of reports critical of India’s human rights abuses in Kashmir, especially after New Delhi’s annexation of the disputed territory.
The Kashmir Committee Chairman has been meeting human rights activists and organizations and urging them to speak out against the brutalities being committed by Indian security forces in IIOJ&K.
