Five FC soldiers martyred in terrorist

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has said that five soldiers of Frontier Corps Balochistan have embraced martyrdom in an exchange of fire with terrorists in Sangan area of District Sibi.

According to details, the ISPR has said in a statement on Friday that the terrorists had targeted Frontier Corps patrolling party. They said that heavy losses were inflicted on the terrorists in men and material during the exchange of fire.

The martyred soldiers included havildar Zafar Ali Khan, lance naik Hidayatullah, lance naik Nasir Abbas, lance naik Basheer Ahmed and sepoy Noor Ullah.

The ISPR has said that a search operation is in progress to block the escape routes of the terrorists and apprehend the perpetrators.

“Such cowardly acts by inimical elements, backed by hostile intelligence agencies cannot sabotage the hard-earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan,” ISPR added.
