Maryam Nawaz says she spent 5 months in a death cell after arrest

Maryam Nawaz – the Chief Organizer of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) – has said that she spent five months in a death cell after her arrest.

According to the media reports, the PMLN Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz made these remarks regarding her jail period after her arrest while addressing a ceremony in Lahore today (Wednesday, September 20). She said, “I have spent five months in the death cell, I am standing in front of you after making 200 appearances, I was arrested from Kot Lakhpat Jail in front of my father.”

The Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz further stated that she does not believe in the politics of revenge, and whoever conspired against Nawaz Sharif is not able to come out in public today.

While talking about the return of PMLN Supremo Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan, she said that Nawaz Sharif is returning on October 21. She said that all the projects of Pakistan were given by Nawaz Sharif, during the 4-year government of Nawaz Sharif, the dollar remained at 97 to 98 rupees.

The PMLN Chief Organizer has said that when Nawaz Sharif got the government in 2013, there were 20, 20 hours of load shedding. However, the government of Nawaz Sharif has ended the load shedding.
