Sourav Ganguly admitted to hospital following chest pain

The President of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and former Indian cricket team captain, Sourav Ganguly was admitted to a private hospital after complaining of chest pain.

According to Indian media, Sourav Ganguly was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata on Saturday after falling ill during his morning workout.

The BCCI President felt dizzy while working out, he will be discharged after an angioplasty, according to India Today.

The Secretary of Indian Cricket Board, Jay Shah has confirmed that Sourav Ganguly was indeed hopsitalised and wished him a speedy recovery. He said he had spoken to Ganguly’s family who told him that he is stable and is responding well to treatment.

After hearing the news about the cricket legend, the International Cricket Council (ICC) and cricketers from across the world took to Twitter to wish him a speedy recovery.

The Indian Cricket Team captain Virat Koli, former Pakistan cricket team captain Waqar Younis and Anil Kumble and many others wish Sourav Ganguly a speedy recovery.
