The nation is observing the 75th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with due solemnity today (Monday, September 11).

According to the media reports, the 75th death anniversary of the father of the nation, Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is being observed. Quran Khawani and Fateha Khawani were held at the Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi in this connection.

The national broadcasting platforms – Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television – are broadcasting special programs on this occasion to pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam for his unmatched services for the freedom of Pakistan.

President Dr. Arif Alvi has reaffirmed his commitment to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s vision of Pakistan as a modern Islamic welfare state. He remarked that in order to advance Pakistan, we must adhere to the founding fathers’ guiding ideals. He emphasized the necessity for action on behalf of women, young people, and other vulnerable groups in society. To make Pakistan a great nation, emphasis must be placed on promoting education and eliminating poverty.

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the caretaker prime minister, stated that there is no better way to honor the founder of Pakistan than to transform Pakistan into an Islamic welfare state in his speech on the anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s passing. He stated that in order to further Pakistan’s development, we must put aside all forms of disputes and collaborate round-the-clock. Pakistan is currently going through a difficult time, hence it is more important than ever that we uphold the nation’s founding principles.

It is pertinent to mention here that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah passed away on this day in 1948 shortly after achieving freedom for the nation.
