UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemns Peshawar mosque blast


The Secretary-General of United Nations (UN), Antonio Guterres has condemned the blast inside a mosque in Qissa Khwani Bazaar, Peshawar.

According to details, the Un Secretary-General has expressed his condloneces in a statement on social networking website Twitter.

In the tweet, the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said that Houses of worship should be havens, not targets. ‘I condemn today’s horrific attack on a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan, during Friday prayers,’ he said.

“My condolences to those who have lost loved ones, and my solidarity with the people of Pakistan,” the UN Secretary-General added.
