World Children’s Day 2023 is being observed across the globe including Pakistan today (Monday, November 20).

According to the media reports, the theme of World Children’s Day 2023 is For Every Child, Every Right. The theme is a reminder of the world community’s collective responsibility to ensure the well-being and rights of every child, regardless of their circumstances.

The reports further stated that the governmental and non-governmental organizations and communities will hold several ceremonies, highlighting the unique needs of children, and working towards protecting their rights.

In his message on this day, Raja Pervez Ashraf – the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan – stressed on significance of child rights. He said that the Parliament has always vigorously worked for the welfare and well-being of children.

Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf further stated that the Parliament has achieved many milestones regarding effective legislation for child welfare and child safety.
