Mushaal Mullick says unresolved Kashmir issue would remain threat to world peace

Mushaal Hussein Mullick – the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Human Rights and Women Empowerment – has said that the unresolved Kashmir issue would remain a constant threat to world peace.

According to the media reports, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Human Rights and Women Empowerment Mushaal Hussein Mullick made these remarks while talking to MP Labour Party Shadow Minister UK Parliament Afzal Khan in Islamabad today (Monday, October 9).

During the meeting, Mushaal Hussein Mullick informed the Shadow Minister UK Parliament Afzal Khan that the Modi regime hatched numerous conspiracies to change the demography of the occupied Kashmir in sheer violation of UN resolutions and international laws. She reiterated that the resolution of the Kashmir dispute was imperative not only for durable peace in India and Pakistan but also for the entire world.

The Special Assistant asked international organizations, including the UK government to build pressure on the Indian notorious government to release the unlawfully incarcerated Kashmiri leaders including her husband Yasin Malik. She claimed that because Yasin Malik was the most influential voice of the nonviolent Kashmiri resistance, he was being linked to fraudulent, contrived, and politically motivated prosecutions in an effort to silence him.

On this occasion, Afzal Khan held out assurance to SAPM on HR and Women Empowerment that he would take up the issue of the Indian atrocities and human rights violations in the UK parliament.

Additionally, they decided to collaborate in order to embrace long-term policy proposals for Pakistani women’s economic empowerment and employment sector growth. They both agreed that Pakistani women needed funding to enable them to do their part alongside their male colleagues for the improvement and uplift of the nation, in addition to the urgent necessity to establish a skill development program for them.
