Pakistan presents guard of honor to welcome President Ebrahim Raisi

A formal welcome ceremony in honor of Iranian President Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi was held at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad today (Monday, April 22).

According to the media reports, A smartly turned-out contingent of the armed forces presented a guard of honor to the Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi. Anthems of both countries were also played on the occasion. Later, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif introduced his cabinet members to the Iranian President.

In connection with International Earth Day, the Iranian President and Pakistani Prime Minister planted a sapling at the Prime Minister’s House.

It is to be mentioned here that the President of Iran arrived in Islamabad today on a three-day visit to Pakistan. He was warmly received by Federal Minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada on arrival at Nur Khan Airbase. He is accompanied by his spouse and a high-level delegation, comprising the Foreign Minister and other members of the cabinet, senior officials, and a business delegation.
